User Agreement

1. General

1.1. This agreement contains the terms of use for the minimaailma.fi online service (hereinafter "Service") maintained by Suomen Minimaailma Oy (hereinafter "Service Provider").

1.3. By using the Service, purchasing products from the Service or registering for the Service, the User accepts the terms set forth in this agreement and undertakes to comply with these terms.

1.4. All rights to the content of the Service belong to the Service Provider. The Service Provider also reserves the right to make changes to the content of the service (including this user agreement) without notifying the User separately.

2. Registration  

 

2.1. Placing an order does not require registration.

2.2. The user registers by filling in the necessary information in the registration form and choosing a password for himself.

2.3. Registration is free.

3. Privacy and data protection

3.1. The Service Provider is responsible for the proper processing of the information provided by the User and for maintaining the User's privacy. The information provided by the User is stored in the Service's customer register.  

 

3.2. Mandatory information in registration is the User's first name, last name, full address, phone number and email address (used as a username when logging in). For corporate customers, also the company name and business ID.

3.3. The Service Provider does not disclose the personal data it collects to outside parties.

3.4. The information in the customer register may be used in electronic direct marketing only if the User has given his consent to this.  

 

3.5. Through the Service, the User has the right to check the personal data concerning himself and to change it. If the User wants the information concerning him to be completely removed from the register, the User must contact our customer service.

4. User's responsibilities and obligations

4.1. The user is responsible for all use that takes place with his username and password, and for ensuring that the use complies with the terms of this agreement. The user is responsible for keeping the password secret.  

4.2. The User is fully responsible for any damage caused to the Service Provider, other Users and third parties due to the use of the Service contrary to this agreement, law or good practice.

5. Binding nature of the order

5.1. A binding sales agreement enters into force when the Service Provider has sent an order confirmation to the User by email.

5.2. Communication between the parties takes place either by email or telephone. After placing an order, the User undertakes to monitor his email to receive an order confirmation.

5.3. The User has the right to cancel the entire order or parts of the order by email or telephone before the delivery of the order. Delivery has taken place when the Service Provider has sent the order or part of the order.

5.4. When the User has placed an order, the Service Provider no longer has the right to change the terms of the agreement.

5.5. The Service Provider reserves the right not to accept the order.

6. Prices

6.1. The price of the product is the price displayed on the Service's page in connection with the product information at the time of ordering.

6.2. Delivery costs are added to the final price of the order. Delivery costs are priced according to the delivery method chosen by the User, the address and the weight or volumetric weight (1 m3 = 250 kg).

6.3. The current delivery fee is shown in the Service before completing the order.

6.4. In the Service, prices and delivery costs are displayed to the User in euros (EUR).

6.5. When selling and transporting products to EU countries, the stated prices include value added tax in accordance with Finnish legislation.

6.6. When selling and transporting products outside the EU countries, the recipient of the product is responsible for local taxes, customs duties and other comparable costs.  

 

8. Returns

8.1. In accordance with Finnish consumer protection legislation, the consumer has the right to cancel their order by notifying the Service Provider within fourteen (14) days of receiving the order.

8.2. The condition for a return is that:

  • the order has been canceled in accordance with the terms of sale by notifying the Service Provider within 14 days of receiving the product at the latest  
  • the product is unused and the seal of CD and DVD discs is unopened
  • the product is in the same condition in which the buyer received it and all parts belonging to the product are intact
  • the product is packed in its original packaging or in a similar manner

8.3. The product must be returned immediately after canceling the order.

8.4. Fresh products cannot be returned, nor are they compensated for if the product has arrived within the estimated transport time promised for it. The customer is responsible for ensuring that they order fresh products using the recommended delivery methods. The supplier is not responsible for any indirect damage to fresh products caused by a delivery method chosen contrary to the recommendations.

8.5. When returning products, the customer is responsible for the transport risk and the costs of the return.

9. Defective or damaged product in transport

9.1. A defective or damaged product in transport must be reported to our customer service immediately, but no later than 24 hours after receiving the product.

9.2. The Service Provider primarily compensates for a defective or damaged product in transport by reimbursing the price of the product. In some cases, Suomen Minimaailma may also send a new product to replace the defective one.

9.3. The defect of the product or the damage it has suffered must be defined and documented in an appropriate manner.

9.4. The defective or damaged product must be sent to the Service Provider for inspection.

9.5. The Service Provider will not deliver a new product or reimburse the price of the product until the defect or damage has been verified.

10. Dispute resolution

10.1. Finnish law is applied to disputes arising from this User Agreement.

10.2. All disagreements concerning this agreement that cannot be resolved through negotiations will be settled in the Helsinki District Court.
