Suomen Minimaailma's products are not toys for small children but dollhouse miniatures, with the exception of products stated to be suitable for children. Products may contain small parts. Choking hazard. The recommendation from suppliers and manufacturers is 'not for children under 14 years'.
The majority of our products are mass-produced at affordable prices, so products may have minor cosmetic imperfections.
Almost all of our products are in principle made in 1:12 scale, but some affordable products may have deviations in dimensional accuracy. Product cards generally also include product measurements in centimetres. We ask you to consider the suitability of 1:12 scale especially when purchasing Minimaailma products as gifts.
Material-descriptive words in product names such as pine, mahogany, walnut, cherry, oak, silver, glass, mirror, leather etc. refer to the impression created by the product's colour and surface treatment, not the actual material.
The colours of delivered products may differ slightly from the images. Products may differ slightly from the images in the webshop. Significant price differences between similar products are due to differences in finishing quality.
Children's dollhouse furniture is made to suit small children and is in a slightly smaller scale.
Current prices in the webshop are shown in euros for each product. The price includes value added tax of 25.5%. We reserve the right to change prices without separate notice. We also reserve the right to correct and adjust prices due to technical or human errors.
We reserve the right to cancel orders due to obvious pricing errors. If a product price has not been entered at all, the price is 0.00 euros, or the price deviates substantially from the product's correct price, e.g. if the price of a 150.00 euro product has been entered as 15.00 euros, we assume you understand that this is an incorrect price.
Clearance products are clearly 2nd quality products and are sold at a reduced price. Any defects in the products are described in the product card. We ask you to read the product description carefully before purchasing.
Products can be ordered from the webshop for delivery by post to an address in Finland or for collection from our store. Products shown in the webshop are in principle immediately available. Webshop orders are normally processed and dispatched within 1–4 business days. If necessary, the customer will be contacted by email or telephone. If the order is not paid within 7 days, the order will be considered cancelled.
When collecting from the store, the customer must check and approve the products in the store in accordance with the order.
For campaign discounts such as the Black Friday campaign, the maximum order per customer is two items of discounted products. Campaign products are not intended for resale.
We accept orders placed by adults. We reserve the right not to deliver products to customers who have failed to collect their orders or have returned their orders without justification.
Please note: the minimum order amount for postal delivery is €10. If the order amount is less, the webshop will not offer a postal delivery option.
The shopping cart amount must be at least €10 for the postal delivery option to appear.
Postal handling and delivery fee €6.99.
When the shopping cart amount is at least €100, delivery fee €0 (applies to deliveries to Finland and Sweden). Free delivery does not apply to large dollhouses.
Home delivery: Finland Post home delivery from €19.99.
Collection from store: €0.
Dollhouses: Collection from post office €14.88 and collection from store €0.
Order-specific delivery costs will be displayed when the shopping cart order is updated.
Shopify Payments enables payment with Visa, Visa Debit, Visa Electron, MasterCard, Debit MasterCard and American Express cards. The webshop uses the international authentication services Verified by Visa, MasterCard SecureCode and American Express SafeKey. Shopify appears as the payment recipient on card statements and Shopify Payments transfers the customer's card payment directly to the merchant (Suomen Minimaailma Oy). Card payments are made securely through a protected payment form and card details are not stored in the webshop's systems.
Payment via Paytrail from online banking, by credit card or with available instalment payment options. Paytrail's payment service transfers your payment to the merchant. If Paytrail Oy appears on your bank statement or credit card invoice, Paytrail has transferred your payment to Suomen Minimaailma Oy. Please note: in order to complete your payment via the Paytrail service, you must have "allow pop-up windows" enabled in your browser. If payment via Paytrail fails for any reason, we can send a new payment link — you do not need to place a new order due to a failed payment.
Post: When payment appears in Suomen Minimaailma Oy's account or in the Paytrail service, the order is dispatched to the post. We will notify you of the postal tracking code by email, which you can use to collect the shipment from the post office.
Collection from store: When payment has been made, the order is picked. We will notify you by email when the order is available for collection from our store at Liisankatu 15, Helsinki.
PLEASE NOTE: Finland Post stores packages for only 5 days, after which the package is returned to the sender. Collect your package promptly as soon as you receive notification. If collection within 5 days is not possible, the storage period can be extended in the OmaPosti app by up to 14 days.
For packages delivered to other countries, the storage period varies by country — please check the storage period with your country's postal service or Finland Post's local partner.
We will charge the customer for the new return postage costs for a returned package.
The customer has a 14-day right of withdrawal from receipt of the goods in accordance with the Consumer Protection Act.
How to cancel your order
An order can be cancelled by logging into your customer account or by using the cancellation form at minimaailma.fi/pages/peruuta-tilaus. A confirmation will be sent by email. Failure to collect a package from the post office or sending it back by return post without separate notification is not sufficient to cancel a purchase.
Return procedures
Always contact the seller before returning goods. Returns must be sent by post. Always notify us of the tracking code for the returned shipment by email at info@minimaailma.fi, so that the shipment is not returned to the sender due to insufficient information. Pack products carefully. Opening product packaging is permitted when done without damaging the packaging or products.
Refund
The refund will be made to the original payment method within 14 days of receiving the return, provided that the returned products and their packaging are in proper condition. If you paid via Paytrail, the refund will be processed by Paytrail Oy.
Failure to collect a package from the post office is not a cancellation of the order. We will charge €14.90 for a returned uncollected package (fees charged by the post office and a handling fee) as well as new delivery costs for the order.
Suomen Minimaailma Oy is not liable for any indirect or direct damages related to an order, delivery or product, except to the extent that the Consumer Protection Act or other mandatory legislation provides otherwise.
In accordance with the Consumer Protection Act, we have the right to send our customers information about our products and offers, unless the customer objects. We do not disclose customer data outside our company.
