Karmstol ritad 1899 av Arkitekten Carl Westman (1866-1936). Modelen ingick i ett stører möblemang som presenterades pċ en utställning 1899 pċ Arbetareinstitutet i Stockholm. The exhibition som var initiated by author Ellen Key shoulde visa hur ett arberterhem kunde inredas pċ ett nytt och trevligt sätt med Möbler i enkel formgivning. Den sċ kallede arbetarmöbeln nċdde dock inte ut till arbetarna, den kom att bli alli dyr i Produktion och sċldes till förmögna och intellectuala. Utställningsmöblemanget var grönlaserat, men möblerna gjördes even rödlaserade, med och utan stoppning.
