The half column is suitable as a pillar on the wall and as a decoration that can be easily placed in various structures.

Note, the columns are not perfectly symmetrical to each other: in particular, the profile and shape of the curved section at both ends varies, so the height of the "straight and smooth" parts at the ends appear to be different sizes. Also, the curvature is not always symmetrical about the center of the column.
