Transformer 12V, 2000mAh and lighting track
12v voltage and 2000mA capacity
Transformer for the dollhouse for approx. 36 individual 12V lamps and lighting rail for 12 dollhouse lamp wires.Voltage 12v, capacity 2000mA. The transformer is connected to the 230V mains current and it converts the voltage to 12V for lamps and electrical accessories.
Between this transformer and the lighting rail is a so-called round connector. The type of connector does not matter in itself, but the transformer and the lighting rail must have the same/compatible connector. This package has a compatible set ready.
The capacity of the transformer is enough for approx. 36-38 individual lamps. One lamp (bulb) typically takes 50mA
The lights are counted according to the bulbs - e.g. a 6-branch lamp has 6 lights. However, the light rail CANNOT hold 6 lights with 6 branches, because these take more power. If the transformer is overloaded, the fuse will blow and the indicator light on the light rail will light up. The fuse is replaceable. Note the capacity of your transformer (2000 mAh) when ordering new fuses.
The lighting rail has a place for 12 plugs. More lamps can be connected to the same lighting track using an extension cord or junction box.
Typically, the lighting track is installed at the back of the house and the wires of the lamps are brought through small holes drilled in the back wall of the house. A hole of about 3 mm can accommodate 2 electric cables for passing through, and a 1.5 mm hole is enough for one cable.
You can temporarily remove the plug from the plugs of the lamps by pulling the brass prongs off with pliers, then you can take the cord through a small hole behind the house and then install the plug again. When reinstalling the plug, care must be taken that the copper wires do not touch each other. otherwise there will be a short circuit and the fuse will blow.
